"A guy I work with is always bragging about his ES8243A shaver. He claims that it gives the closest shave this side of a straight razor. I must admit I see him using it whenever he needs a quick touch up, so it is very handy.

He directed me to Amazon.com because he says they have a good price on the Panasonic ES8243A, and they will ship it for free. So, I threw out my ancient Norelco model. I figured that now is a good time to buy the ES8243A.

It arrived sooner than expected, and I had already shaved that day. But, first thing the next morning, I took the ES8243Aon a test "run."All I can say is "holy cow!"

I honestly could not even tell that I was shaving, as the shaver just glided over my face! it was amazing! With my old shaver, it took forever to shave because I had to go over troublesome spots several times. With the Panasonic ES8243A Arc, I was done in about 1/2 the time!

It is a handsome little devil, too! And my wife loves it because it is quiet, and it shaves much closer than the Norelco. So it mainly because of my wife that I am writing this ES8243A review."

"I purchased the Panasonic ES8243A about 2 months ago. It was actually the first shaver of any kind that I have owned in 7 years. In fact, it was the first RAZOR of any kind that I have used in 7 years. You see, I had a full beard all that time.

So needless to say, ANY kind of shaving was a new experience for me! This wet/dry style shaver is so fabulous! I mean, if you are going to have to shave, you might as well do it as conveniently as possible.
